Okay, so I'm going to need to give myself an extension until June 2009, but I FINALLY completed my reading list for 2008. I already have books starting to go on a potential '09 list!!

Not that you need any more reading recommendations at this point (clearly! that's an awfully long list), but if you haven't already read it, The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down is excellent -- it's sort of "medical anthropology."

Hard to read (emotionally speaking), but so worth it.

What an excellent suggestion, hopalong! Now I have to decide, to delete something else and add it to my 8 x 8 in 08(-09), or to leave it for my next list. Ah, a delightful reader's dilemma.
