Oh F**k!
Sorry. I hate to just go around shouting like this, but I can't help but shout that right now because oh, f**k oh f**k oh f**k. A couple of oxygen sensors just blew on our car, along with some other crap that I don't even understand, and it will cost us about $1000 to fix it. Oh this is such a bad news. Alright, if I can negotiate a deal on our energy bill, extend our payments out even more, maybe we can come up with about half of what we need. I just don't know. I just don't know how we're going to pull this off.

It's sort of designed for people who make too much to get a lot of state or federal aid, but still need help, and/or have a sudden emergency expense that they can't cover.
Thanks. I am familiar with modest needs, but from what I've heard, their application process is pretty drawn out and we'd be unlikely to get help soon enough.
What I did do was call the energy company and re-negotiate payments. That is a big help. I'm feeling a little better. One way or another, I am sure we'll work it out. It just...urgh!
