Speaking of which I sent you those couple of craft suggestions, do you need more? I have some ideas, not sure if they were from that or not?
For example, ironing leaves between wax paper, trim around the shape, punch a hole in the top and hang from string/yarn/ribbon in a window. There are always folded and cut out 'snowflakes', you can use paper destined to be recycled. I also have a real comment about this article,no time to write. I'll be back.

By the by, I can show you how to cut "snowflakes" that are actually six sided if you want. Or also how to do other paper cutting, like Dia De Los Muertos flag designs. Let me know if you want to do that while you are here and I'll bring the stuff to show you. Love Unkie Jofish

Mama, thanks for the leaf idea. You are welcome to send me more craft suggestions, though don't spend any more time on it if you don't have the time...I think I am pretty good right now. I am so not a craftsy person, so I am mainly just sending this on to our "green Christmas" folks who are planning our annual "green Christmas" celebration.

Unkie JoFish, sure! Teach me what you know! Just be forewarned that when it comes to any kind of craft, I am a sloooooooow learner! I'd especially love to learn how to make Dia De Los Muertos flags if you have anything lying around that we could practice on. If I can remember, I'll bring some tissue paper too.

P.S. Sara, are you going to Albuquerque this weekend?

Really,I want a new set of papel picado flags to replace the ones Silver accidentally ripped in the backyard when he was "fixing" them for me!!!

Hey,

I know you're interested in neurodivergence and autism, so I thought you might find this woman's blog interesting:

http://babyslime.livejournal.com

She's from British Columbia and is struggling to get a diagnosis/services for her five-year-old daughter, Tempest. (She also happens to be an awesome photographer).

I should have added to that: she strongly suspects her daughter is on the autism spectrum, but keeps being written off about it (i.e., told it's just "ADHD that looks like autism").

Thanks! I'll pop over.
